Guinn Rogers, CE began his extensive career with the Goodwill Movement in 1980 when he found himself newly relocated to Denver, CO and freshly laid off due to over aggressive hiring by his new employer.  With a young wife and child to care for, Guinn found a position with Goodwill Industries of Denver as a lead-worker on a major metals reclamation project for Mountain Bell.  Guinn’s creativity ,  flexibility and persistence were recognized by the organization. Over the next 17 years, Guinn served in various departments in ever increasing levels of responsibility.   In 1991, Guinn was appointed to Human Resources Director and in 1996 he became Vice President of Industrial Contract Services.

In late 1997, Goodwill Industries of Kentucky brought Guinn on board as Corporate Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  Guinn was appointed to the position of President and CEO for Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan in the Summer of 1999, an organization on the verge of bankruptcy.  While in Michigan he and his staff successfully put the organization on a stable financial footing while increasing persons served and growth in commercial activities.

Guinn was offered the position of President and CEO of Goodwill Industries of El Paso in late February of 2002.  In April of that year he officially took the reins of leadership once again.  Guinn believes in opportunistic growth.  This philosophy has lead to increased services of more than 400 fold and agency growth of more than 200% since 2001.

Guinn has a Bachelors Degree in Management and Computer Science from Metropolitan State College of Denver and an Associates in Data Processing from Seminole Community College in Sanford, FL.  Born in Munich, Germany, Guinn became a US citizen in 1977.  Guinn has lived all over the US as a result of, as he puts it “I’m and Army Brat”.

In 1977 Guinn married his wife Mary.  He has two daughters, Alexandra and Andreana.
